Description	This is a compendium of mainly medieval estate accounts for a number of ecclesiastical institutions and lay bodies in various parts of the country. They may mostly have come to Canterbury in the confusion of the return of church records at the Restoration. For most, their present deposit here is otherwise unexplainable. However, Tonbridge's accounts may have been deposited with the priory by Queen Joan who then had the wardship of the Stafford estates. Eastbridge Hospital's master was supposed to have his account audited by the priory, and some of the accounts are for manors adjacent to the priory's, such as FX 1 and 8.
