The majority of charters in this section relate to the manor of Southchurch, which lies just outside Southend on the south east coast of Essex. DCc-ChAnt/S/2A and DCc-ChAnt/S/4 relate to Southwark in Surrey and DCc-ChAnt/S/5 relates to Tilbury. DCc/Register/B, ff56r-95v, contains 193 charters for the manor of Southchurch, which includes charters for Prittlewell, Leigh, Shoebury, Shopland, Bures and Eastwood, and there are 4 charters relating to Southchurch in DCc/Register/E, f376v.

CCA-DCc-ChAnt/S/242-285
This section of charters relates to the town and Cinque Port of Sandwich in East Kent, which lies approximately 10 miles north of Dover and 2 miles from the coast. DCc/Register/C, ff55r-58r, contains 18 charters for Sandwich. There are 13 charters for Sandwich in DCc/Register/E, ff200r-201v. Cnut's grant of Sandwich is also entered in the codicelli section of the registers. In 1290 the cathedral priory granted its rights in Sandwich to the crown in exchange for 60 librates of land elsewhere in Kent.

CCA-DCc-ChAnt/S/286-298B
These charters relate to Seasalter which is on the marshy north coast of Kent, 8 miles north-west of Canterbury. DCc/Register/B, ff86v-88v, contains 7 charters for Seasalter and there are 4 charters for Seasalter in DCc/Register/E, ff223v-224v. There are copies of several Seasalter charters in the priory almoner's register which is now Bodleian Library Tanner MS 18.

The charters in this section relate to Southwark in Surrey. Southwark charters are registered in the London section of the registers. The are 121 charters for London, including Southwark, in DCc/Register/B, ff233v-286r, and DCc/Register/E, ff353r-357v, contains 29 charters for London and Southwark.

These charters relate to the manor of Stisted, which lies just north of Braintree in Essex. There are 26 charters for Stisted in DCc/Register/B, ff160r-165r, and DCc/Register/E, ff383r-383v contains 2 charters for Stisted at the end of the Bocking section.

CCA-DCc-ChAnt/S/369-449
Most of the charters in this section relate to the cathedral priory's jurisdiction when the see of Canterbury was vacant. The major collection of sede vacante material is in the Sede Vacante Scrapbooks (DCc-SVSB/I-IV), but there are several groups of sede vacante material throughout the Chartae Antiquae. DCc/Register/F, DCc/Register/G, DCc/Register/N, DCc/Register/Q, DCc/Register/R and DCc/Register/U2 cover sede vacante business for vacancies from 1292 to 1559.

CCA-DCc-ChAnt/S/450-457
These documents have not previously been catalogued. DCc-ChAnt/S/450-454 relate to Seasalter, Southchurch, Southwark and Stisted. DCc-ChAnt/S/455-457 relates to the priory's sede vacante jurisdiction.
