Many disputes have arisen between the cathedral priory and the monks of Dover Priory, concerning the cathedral priory's claim to rule over Dover, to receive the subprior, novices and the professions of monks and to exercise a right of correction. The cathedral priory submits itself to the decision of Archbishop John Stratford in these matters and promises to abide by this decision.
