DescriptionActa before the dean of Arches, commissary of Robert Kilwardby, archbishop of Canterbury, in St Mary-le-Bow church, London, on 24 Jan 1275, continued from 21 Jan. The archbishop is acting as papal judge delegate in cases between the subprior and convent of Dover Priory, represented by Robert of Canterbury, the subprior, as their proctor, and the prior and chapter of Canterbury Cathedral Priory, whose proctor is Mgr Walter de Tremfeld', clerk; Geoffrey of Romney, monk of Canterbury, was also present [nature of the case not specified]. The day had been appointed to dispute various dilatory and declinatory exceptions and to receive an interlocutory sentence on them. The cathedral priory objected to the wording of the last acta and there was an argument about the exceptions. The dean appointed 4 Mar as to day to receive the interlocutory sentence.

Endorsed with descriptions in late 13th cent hands. One describes the document as the 7th acta and the 2nd after the remission from the papal curia, and another describes it as an acta concerning all cases ('Acta unita').
