Robert had withdrawn his obedience from the chapter of Canterbury Cathedral Priory and acknowledges his fault. He has sought and obtained mercy from Prior R[oger de la Lee] and the chapter of Canterbury and is to be summoned before them to make satisfaction. He renounces all appeals. Sealed with Robert's seal [no longer present] and the seal of the chapter of Dover Priory. [Seal reunited with document on the basis of the entry in Beauvoir's catalogue, cited below.]
