DescriptionCopies of 3 grants relating to a messuage and 1 furlong of land in Doccombe, as in DCc-ChAnt/D/25, DCc-ChAnt/D/26 and DCc-ChAnt/D/27, above. No date. [Date: date in endorsement and handwriting.]

Endorsed with description as evidences of William Tapper of Doccombe in a case between him and the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory brought between 1423 and 1426 [2, 3 and 4HenVI], and various notes on the case in early 15th cent hands. It was agreed that William should hold the land of the priory for life, provided he paid the rent.
