DescriptionTennyson's 'Becket' was performed in 1932 and 1933. The cast in both performances was similar, although Becket was played in 1932 by E A Clarke-Smith and in 1933 by Russell Thorndike. In both performances, Queen Eleanor was played by Miss Babington. The costumes for 1933 were designed by Lawrence Irving. Some photographs have been identified on the back. These photographs seem to all come from the 1932 performance.
