[Clyve's title (`Commissary sede vacante') places it within the sede vacante period of 8 Dec 1292 to 12 Sep 1294.] Attached to the roll is a letter from Clyve dated 21 October 1293 to the dean of Charing, ordering him to enquire into the vacancy at Eastwell church.
