Description	The steward of the liberty and high court of the dean and chapter accounted for amercements and other profits from the high court, estreats (usually stray animals sold), wreck from the sea, deodands and chattels of felons and fugitives. The accounts cover 12 months from 1 Dec until 1547, then they run from Michaelmas. The steward was assisted by 2 or 3 bailiffs.
