There are several later annotations, cancellations, and erasures; m1 has been sewn in the wrong place and should properly follow m2. 2. (1200c) Survey of St Margaret's p, detailing tenant, rent, when due, position, and dimensions of the property in 44 paragraphs with 3 added later as memoranda. 3. (later C13) Rental listing tenants, when rent due, and amount for Canterbury parishes of: St Margaret, St Mary Castro, St Mildred, and St George; with additions and cancellations. Sewn in with these are 3 further slips of parchment, possibly the residue of other rentals cut out. One bears the following two lines with the ascenders of a third: 'Raptus ad incestus explensque libidinus estus fit pater ex matre natus uni filia proles'. |
