| Description | Register of priory business compiled by the chancellors. Business now comprises
presentations, appointments of officers and leases for the archbishop's estates (which had to be ratified by the priory) (the largest portion of business), confirmations, ordinances, notices of deaths of archbishops and priors, and leases of priory estates.
An attached paper booklet contains an C18 index.
The foliation currently runs 411-453 and thence 52-377 as the first section was removed from Register E on rebinding in 1913. |
