| Description | Register of priory business compiled by the chancellors. A heading sometimes appears at the start of the year. This is the first of the great run of priory/chapter lease registers. The business is recorded chronologically and comprises
presentations, appointments of officers on the archbishop's estates and lay officials at the priory by the archbishop (which had to be ratified by the priory), confirmations, ordinances, notices of deaths of archbishops and priors, and, increasingly, leases of priory estates.
