DescriptionWriter: Gibson, William, vicar of Meopham, Kent

MA for 28 years, ordained deacon 1634/5 and priest 1637/8. He lost his living during the Civil War/Commonwealth. Then [in 1646] he was the second to succeed Mr [Thomas] Pigott as vicar of Meopham. The income of the living is small, and he asks for a 'competency' from the rectory, according to the King's declaration. [Date: MA in 1633]
