His father, William Woolball, late of Appledore, gent, held the lease of Appledore fairground ['fayre'], a cottage there and an acre of land in Latchell Wood, Appledore, adjoining Mr Chute's land. Woolball left the unexpired portion of the lease to his son, who in turn grants it to Richard Fusse of Appledore. Matthew Plantrell, witness. 8 Jul.
