DescriptionContratenor part-book arranged in tête-bêche binding, containing services and, reversing the volume, anthems. Begun about 1688-1691, and features nineteenth-century additions (Anthem side, pp. 1-16).
Note: the Anthem side begins with the Raylton in Eb Magnificat, followed by (upside-down) a page of pencil sketches 'Lord, what is man'; the anthem section proper begins on the next page correctly paginated as p.17. There is an insert by p. 72; there is a gap from p.76 to 81. After this the pagniation runs through uninterrupted to p.150, which is shared by p231 of the service side, reversed.

Robert Ford suggests the principal copyists were George Rogers, John Fenn, 'Whitehall', Daniel Henstridge, John Knott, Daniel BanfieId, Adam Williamson, William Elvey, William Raylton, Samuel Porter, Highmore Skeats and T.E. Jones.
