DescriptionBass part-book arranged in tête-bêche binding, containing services and, reversing the volume, anthems. Part of same set as MusicMS 2; Anthems added by Samuel Porter. A scrap of William Raylton's ' pp. 145-146 from an octavo-size volume, loose at front of Service side. Begun about 1688-1691. Note: service side pagination skips from p. 104 to 107. By this point the volume has an alternative set of numbering, crossed out to p. 160, at which point this alternative sequence continues up to p. 349. There were two p. 326s and a gap to p. 328; the second of these is now renumbered to 327. The anthems cover the reverse pages from 1 to 29.

Robert Ford suggests the principal copyists were George Rogers, Richard Young, Daniel Henstridge, John Knott, William Elvey, Samuel Porter, Thomas Jenningsand William Raylton.
