Written in a cramped hand of second half of the fourteenth century. Begins: "Tres enim sunt regule ecclesiastice discipline" ends "in alio loco salventur"; and in the same hand as the Regulae, - "Scriptum Rome per manus fratris Johannis Whytefelde monachi dovorr' ordinis sci Benediciti Cantuar' dioc' in quatuor septimanis mens' Augusti anno tercio Urbani Pape VI (1380-1) tunc infirmitate diutiva gravati, traditum monacho de Wenlok ut defferat illud dno priori Dovorie pro salario competenti". (Identified as written in Rome by John Whytefelde/Whitefield, a monk of Dover Priory.)
Joh. Whytefelde was `Librarian' of Dover Priory.
