Initials illuminated in red and blue, with penwork interlacing patterns in the loops of the larger ones. On a fly-leaf at the beginning, and at the foot of the first page of the text is the following inscription:- "Liber Johannis de Lond' de Librar' sci Augustini Cant". Dr. James identifies this book with No. 1286 in the Catalogue of St. Augustine's Library (Ancient Libraries, pp. 350, 521), where it is described as `Textus logici', viz., "Lib' porphirii, lib' predicamentorum, lib' pergarmenias, lib' sex principiorum, lib' divisionum Boecii, libr' Topicorum Boecii, lib' de articulis fidei, priscianus minor, Accentus quedam Regule versificandi, Barbarismus et duo libri Ethicorum J de London".
