| Description | On behalf of James de Brenley against Richard Everard in a case [?of defamation] [?before the Court of Canterbury]. The evidence centres on an ex officio prosecution of James and Matilda called Sparuwe, for fornication, by the official of the archdeacon of Canterbury, apparently on the basis of false stories and threats by Richard.
