DescriptionOf O[liver] Sutton, bishop of Lincoln, supporting a factum contrarium brought by him in the Court of Canterbury against a tuitorial appeal by Mr Edward de St John. Edward was contesting Sutton's collation of the prebend of Thame O to Mr Thomas de Sutton, archdeacon of Northampton. Depositions by: John de Scalleby, William de Markham, vicar in the church of Lincoln and Adam de Langeton', priests; William de Clive, Mr Henry de Nassington, John de Clipston, Robert de Malton, John de Westbur', Mr John de Feriby, Mr Nicholas de Appletree, Mr Robert de Kenill', Thomas de Alreton' and John de Wardinton', clerks; and John de Craven, Hugh de Estrafford, Hugh de Nasele, Richard de Aram and John Sayer. 18 Feb 1294
