DescriptionOf Mr William de Meriden, presentee to the church of Longborough Gl, supporting his tuitorial (?) appeal to Canterbury against [Godfrey Giffard], bishop of Worcester, for refusing to admit and institute him to the said church. Contains the form of William's appeal 'to the see of Canterbury and in default of it to the apostolic see'. Depositions by: [Richard de Condicote]; Mr Nicholas de Worth', clerk; John de Kent; Denis de Asleber'; Eustace de Bradewey. [No date; probably similar to the tuitorial appeal, which is 26-27 Mar 1271] .
