DescriptionFrom a case of divorce between Lady Maria de Rikynghal', and Sir John Crowe, heard in the Court of Canterbury in the principal case, having been brought there on appeal from the official of Norwich. The witnesses are examined on an exception brought by Sir Ralph de Hempnall, knight, in support of the defendant, that Mr Richard de Clara, while acting as Maria's advocate before the official of Norwich, had examined witnesses produced by her.
