DescriptionOf John de Ditton', contradicting the suggestion of Walter Corscoun [see ES Roll 173i]. Walter had been removed from the church of Skenfrith, Monmouthshire, on the authority of Archbishop John [Pecham]; Hugh de Cauz had been canonically instituted and inducted in 1291; and after Hugh had resigned John had been properly instituted on 6 Nov 1293.
