DescriptionOf Thomas de Lewknor et al., from a case over tithes in the parish of Souldern O brought by John de Barnwell, rector of Souldern, against the said Thomas de Lewknor, knight, Lucy de Bray his wife, Geoffrey de Harleford' and Ralph Lullaye. While the case was pending in the Court of Canterbury, the rector had the four defendants pronounced excommunicate, in contempt of that court, by the rector of Tusmore O, the dean of Hampton priest of the parish of Somerton O and Roger, priest of the said John.
