| Description | Of the abbot and convent of Ghent, opposing the granting of tuition by the Court of Canterbury to Ralph, perpetual vicar of East Greenwich K. They had been parties to a tithes case before papal judges-delegate, from whom the monks had made a tuitorial appeal: the 'president' of the Court of Canterbury had granted tuition and sent them into possession of the tithes. But the vicar, in contempt of the Court of Canterbury, had then despoiled them of the disputed tithes.
