| Description | On behalf of John Gumbard and Aldith his wife, supporting their tuitorial appeals to the Court of Canterbury from John, rector of St Andrew Hubbard, London. The latter, in executing a sentence of excommunication passed by Arnold de Stokes, commissary of the Court of Canterbury, in a defamation case brought against them by Roger le Noreys and Celia his wife, had denied them access to the Body of Christ, in contempt of the Court of Canterbury's inhibition.
