DescriptionOn behalf of Mr John Blundel, rector of Nympsfield Gl, for an appeal case of his in the Court of Canterbury. The proceedings of Mr Richard de Stanford, commissary of the official of Worcester, in a case brought against John by the abbot and convent of [? St Peter's] Gloucester are invalid because Stanford is married. Depositions by: Roger Blundel, Richard le Marechal and Nicholas de Wybaldeston.' 9 Oct 1293 [ES Roll 211 may be the processus of the original case, over an annual pension (see Select Cases, pp524-35 for a transcription of the roll).]
