| Description | On behalf of the parishioners of Epping Ess in support of a tuitorial appeal against the monks of Waltham, who had been trying to make them responsible for repairs to the fabric. The abbot of St Albans, as conservator of Waltham's privileges, had excommunicated Adam le Grant, John le Grant and other parishioners, in contempt of the Court of Canterbury.
