DescriptionParty: John son of John of Burton of York
Party: Nicholas son of Richard of Scruton ('Skurveton'') of York

Nicholas has enfeoffed John in land with buildings lying in Jubbergate in York between the land late of John son of Peter of Appleby and the land of 'Dominus' Robert of Clitheroe ('Cliderow') and between Jubbergate in front and the land late of William Cloutpot behind. John grants that when William, Nicholas's son and heir, after his father's death and when he is of age, repays the £10 which Nicholas his father received at the making of the charter, he [John] will return the land to William, together with the charter of foeffment made by Nicholas and a quitclaim to be made by John to William. If John refuses to return the land when the £10 has been repaid, William may re-enter it. John's part of indenture sealed with Nicholas's seal on William's behalf because William is a minor.
