Of a tenement with a garden and 6 pieces of land containing 6 acres and 3½ roods ['iac' in parochia de Nonynton'' crossed out], of which the tenement lies with the king's highway to east, the land of Thomas Stuphill to west, the land of the heirs ('her'') of William Derby to north and the king's highway and William's land to south, 1 piece of land, containing 2 acres, lies with the land of Thomas Stuphill to east, the king's highway to west and the land of Thomas Borant to north, another piece of land, containing 1 acre, lies with the land of William Boye to east, the land of the heirs of John Borant and Thomas Borant to west and the land of William Boye and Thomas Beniamyn' to south and north, another piece of land, containing ½ an acre, lies with the land of William Boye to east, west and north and the king's highway to south, another piece of land, containing 1½ acres, lies on the demesne of 'Solys', with the land of Thomas Baker to east, the king's highway to west, 'le Sam'wey' leading to Dover to south and the king's highway to north, another piece of land, containing 1½ virgates, lies in 'Bakerisfeld' with the land of Thomas Baker' to east, west and south and the king's highway to north and south, and another piece of land, containing 1½ acres lies next to William Veriar's gate, with the land of the demesne of 'Solys' to east, the land of Thomas Stuphill to north and the king's highway to north and south. (2) Testament of William Veriar of Adisham parish, dated 27 May 1487
He wishes to be buried in Adisham churchyard ('cimiterium sanctorum Innocencium'). Bequests to Adisham and Nonington churches. Bequests are of money and grain. Provision for masses for his soul and the souls of his parents and benefactors and all the faithful departed. He appoints his son Stephen Veriar and John Payn' his executors.

(3) Will of William Veriar
Peter veriar and Thomas Harflete, William's feoffees, are to enfeoff Stephen, his son, with the tenement and 6 pieces of land in Nonington which William recently gave them. Stephen is not to sell the lands and shall pay 2s a year for 20 years to the church of Nonington for charitable works. If Stephen does not wish to do this, the foeffees are to do it. If Stephen dies without heirs of his body, the feoffees are to sell the lands and use the money for charitable purposes, including the repair of Nonington church if necessary.
