He wishes to be buried within the choir of St Peter the Little, York, his parish church. Bequests to the church of St Peter the Little, the cathedral church of York. Bequests to: the rector, parish clerk and sub clerk of St Peter the Little; the rector of St Oswald's, Durham; each of the orders of mendicant friars in York; the guilds of Corpus Christi, St Christopher, St Anthony and St John the Baptist of the city of York; the proctor of the hospital of St Thomas of Canterbury ('sancti Thomae martiri') in Rome; Agnes, Thomas's wife; the prior and convent of Durham Cathedral Priory; the prior and convent of the Franciscan Friary, York. Bequests are of wax, money and lands in Jubbergate and Feasegate ('Fesegale'), York. Provision for masses to be said for his soul. Residue to Agnes, whom he appoints his executrix. He appoints John Whelpyngton', clerk, Christopher Both', merchant, and William Kilburn, skinner ('pelliparius') as his overseers. Probate granted before the commissary general of the official of the court of York to Agnes, Thomas's widow, on 6 Sep 1456. Given at York.
