Bequests to the church of St Margaret Fish Street Hill, London. Bequests to: John's son Robert and his wife; Alice, John's daughter; Joan Frere, daughter of John's daughter, Alice; Joan Gayton' and William Branghyng, John's servants; Henry Brunne. Bequests are of money, beds and bedding, armour, a book, cups, cooking ustensils, linen and lands in the parishes of St Michael Cornhill and St Bartholomew the Less. Provision for masses to be said for his soul. John's son Robert and 'Dominus' Robert Sprotburgh', rector of St Margaret's, Fish Street Hill, are appointed executors and John's son Robert? and William Furneux, fishmonger, are appointed overseers. Probate endorsed. Proved before the official of the archdeacon of London on 6 Aug 1380. Administration granted to John's son Robert, reserving the right to grant administration to Robert Sprotburgh' if he is willing. Sealed with the seals of John Little and the official.
