The priory has been appointed to collect the first half of a tenth granted to the king at the convocation in St Paul's Cathedral, London, by the clergy of the province of Canterbury in the archdeaconry of Rochester. Endorsed 'Rector' de Westerham' and 'Prior Cant'' in late 15th cent hands.
