DescriptionPerambulation of the lowy of Tonbridge, made in the presence of 'Dominus' Stephen of Penshurst, 'Dominus' John of Cobham and 'Dominus' Solomon of Rochester, the king's itinerant justices on the oath of jurors (named). Detailed description of the boundaries of the lowy. Many tenants' names and field names given. The perambulation is followed by a list of the fees, tenements and tenants within the lowy which are not of the archbishop of Canterbury's fee. [Dumbreck, cited below, identifies this document as the copy of the perambulation made for Archbishop John Pecham.] No date. [Date: handwriting and date of original.] Original dated 8EdwI, no month.
