Several small areas of text lost.] That land called '...sland' in Prittlewell parish which lies between the land of the earl of Oxford and the fee of the monks of Prittlewell and extends from the great way which goes to the market of Prittlewell in length from south to north. Condition against tenure by religious men or Jews. For annual payments of a pair of gloves price of ½d or ½d to Marsilia and ½lb of cumin to Reginald son of Robert-the-earl, both payable as specified. For this Grace has paid 100s as a gersum fine. No date. [Date: handwriting and witnesses to other Southchurch charters.]
