Description | From: Adam Cobbe of Great Stambridge Adam has enfeoffed Richard of Southchurch and Robert, vicar of Shopland, of a messuage, lands and tenements in Great Stambridge. Richard and Robert surrendered and quitclaimed for the lands and Adam re-enfeoffed Richard alone with them, as is contained in the charter of feoffment which he made recently ('de novo'). Adam acknowledges that no quitclaim made to him previously can profit him or harm Richard. No date. [Date: handwriting and witnesses to other Southchurch charters.]
