Description | From: Peter Burre; John Coleman To: 'Sire' Peter of Southchurch For Peter of Southchurch's marsh in Canvey Island ('lile de kaneve') which he had mortgaged ('bayle engage') to them for 170 marks in which he was bound to them. To confirm this they have appointed John Jacob as their attorney to deliver seisin in the marsh to Peter. Given at Rayleigh ('Reyleye') [Essex].
