Description | From: William Bus; Lettice, wife of William Bus To: 'Dominus' Richard of Southchurch, knight For 2½ acres of land in Southchurch parish which they had of the demise of Alan le Somenur and Eleanor his wife, 1½ acres lying with Richard's land to south, Richard's land which was of William Barnel to north, Richard's land which was of Alan and Eleanor to west and Richard's land which was of William Payn to east and the other acre lying with the ditch ('fossatum') which divides Southchurch and Great Wakering to north, Richard's land which was of William Barnel to south, Richard's land which was of Alan and Eleanor to west and William and Lettice's land to east.
