Description | From: Agnes, widow of Luke de Abingetune To: 'Dominus' Peter of Southchurch, knight 4 acres of land in North Shoebury ('parva Schobyr'') lying in length from north to south between Agnes' land and the land of Thomas of Woodham on one side and Thomas's land on the other, with Agnes' land called 'le petschotte' to north and Thomas's land to south. For an annual payment of a root of ginger ('Ratinum de Gingtwer''), payable to the lords of the fee as specified. For this Peter has also paid 12 marks as a gersum fine. Given at Shoebury [Essex].
