Description | From: Andrew de valletorta; Margaret, wife of Andrew de valletorta To: William lowis, cook ('cocus') of 'Dominus' Richard of Southchurch Andrew and Margaret have given William 15 acres of land in Eastwood parish ('Estenuode') for a payment of 100s, payable as specified to William in the house of Richard of Southchurch at Southchurch. If Andrew and Margaret pay William this money within the term, the lands, together with a charter of feoffment made between them concerning the lands, which is now in the hands of Richard of Southchurch, shall revert to them and the charter shall be void. If money is not paid, however, the lands shall remain with William and the charter shall be delivered to him. Given at Southchurch [Essex].
