The see of Peterborough is also vacant by the deprivation of Thomas White, bishop of Peterborough. The dean and chapter grant Thomas the office of commissary for the city and diocese of Peterborough during the period of both deprivations. Thomas is not to institute, admit, invest or induct anyone with a benefice unless he has been examined and approved by Henry Compton, bishop of London, and William Lloyd, bishop of St Asaphs, or the dean and chapter's commissary.
