The rural deans have inquired into the defects in the chancels, books and ornaments of many appropriated churches in the archdeaconry of Canterbury, as well as defects in various buildings and walls of their rectories, the repair of which was the responsibility of 'Dominus' William de la Jugee, late archdeacon of Canterbury. The rural deans are to cite William's executors and administrators to appear at Canterbury Cathedral on 5 Feb to receives the results of their inquiry. The rural deans cited the executors and administrators in the churches of Hackington, Teynham and Lympne. Given at Canterbury.
