Description	From: the rural dean of Lyminge To: Mgr Robert de Borne, commissary general of Canterbury and commissary of the prior and chapter of Canterbury Cathedral Priory sede vacante He has received Robert's mandate, dated 12 Jun 1374 at Canterbury (recited). This commanded him, by the cathedral priory's authority, to cite all the clergy of the deanery of Westbere subject to archiepiscopal jurisdiction to appear in the cathedral on 1 Jul to profess obedience to the priory. The rural dean is to certify what he has done. The rural dean and others have cited the clergy named in the attached schedule. Given at Brenzett [Kent]. List of names formerly attached to the return by its seal tongue. The list states whether the clergy were cited personally or by proctor.
