Relates to the case between Richard de Feringes, archdeacon of Canterbury, and Canterbury Cathedral Priory concerning sede vacante jurisdiction. Hugh is proctor for George de Interempnis, priory proctor at Rome. Philip and Roger are judges in the case.
Protestation against the contents of the 'relatio' which the judges in the case were considering sending to Rome. Including fact that 2 instruments drawn up by John de Bekles and Henry de Tachefeld, notaries public, had not been included. Also appeal to Rome based on this. No date. [Date: Bateson, cited below, who calculates that the 'relatio' was made on 4 Jul 1298 at the latest (p391).]
