Description[Document damaged. Several areas of text lost or illegible.] Account of proceedings at St Paul's Cathedral in the case between Richard de Feringes, archdeacon of Canterbury, and the prior and chapter of Canterbury Cathedral Priory, relating to sede vacante jurisdiction, on 28 Jun and 1-3 Jul. Philip de Barton', canon of Lichfield, Roger of Rothwell, archdeacon of Bedford, and John Dyrewyn, canon of Exeter Cathedral, were acting as papal judges delegate. Original written and attested by Adam son of Adam Swayni of 'Boterwyk', called of Lindsey ('dictus de 'Lyndeseya'), of Lincoln diocese, notary public. No date. [Date: handwriting and date of original.] Original presumably dated in full, but only the year, 1298, is legible.

Endorsed with descriptions in contemporary hands. Described as the 'processus' of the 6th day. Further endorsement, now illegible.
