To: William of Bovington ('dictus de Bovyton''), executor of the late John de massebyri

Alexander has been appointed by the prior and chapter of Canterbury Cathedral Priory, acting sede vacante, in the exempt deanery of Bocking. William was summoned to give an account of his administration of John de massebyri's testament, namely of £4 16s 4¾d of the goods of the deceased, delivered to him by 'Dominus' John de Stebbing', priest, his fellow executor, in Alexander's presence, and appeared on the day and place assigned. William's account showed that he had spent the money on pious uses, in accordance with the deceased's will. Alexander discharges William from the burden and administration of the testament and of the sum of money.
