William was summoned to give an account of his administration of John de massebyri's testament, namely of £4 16s 4¾d of the goods of the deceased, delivered to him by 'Dominus' John de Stebbing', priest, his fellow executor, in Alexander's presence, and appeared on the day and place assigned. William's account showed that he had spent the money on pious uses, in accordance with the deceased's will.
