To: 'Dominus' Richard of Southchurch

Of the payment of 100 marks in which Richard was bound to Ralph for lands and tenements in the hundred of Rochford which Richard had of the gift of Ralph and Emma, his wife, concerning which a chirograph was made between them. Richard acknowledged before 'Dominus' John de Metingham and his fellows, justices at Westminster, in Michaelmas term 1290 that he owed Ralph 50 marks of this 100 marks. Ralph is paid in full and Richard and his sureties are acquitted.
