By a deed dated 11 Nov 1613 the dean and chapter leased a messuage called 'the Hermitage' on Streatham Common in Streatham, Surrey, to Thomas Smithe, late of Canterbury, yeoman, to be enclosed as an orchard, with the consent of the tenants of the manor of Vauxhall, of which the common is part, for a term of 21 years. Elizabeth, who is the administratrix of Thomas's goods, surrenders the lands and the lease. Elizabeth's mark at end of document.

Witnesses: Francis Vye; Richard Camden

Certificate by Francis Dee and Richard Camden, dated 19 Dec 1616, that they have seen Elizabeth's letters of administration dated 5 Jul 1615.
