Description | From: the dean and chapter of Exeter Cathedral To: Richard Hawker; William Haywood The dean and chapter have leased their manor of Langford or Langford farm in the parish of 'Fyffitt' [unidentified], Somerset, with 30 acres of meadow lying in a moor called 'Ilmoore' near the farm, reserving the woods called 'Fyffytt woodes' and 'Speikes woodes' to the dean and chapter, to John Seymour, William Seymour and Walter Seymour, sons of Edward Seymour of Cathanger, Somerset, esq, for the term of their lives or the life of the longest liver of them for an annual payment of £11 13s 4d. Richard and William Haywood are to take possession of these lands on behalf of the dean and chapter and then deliver seisin in them to John, William and Walter.
