Description | Plaintiff: Margery la Bygod ('petens') Deforciant: John de Sittingbourne, I, prior of Canterbury Cathedral Priory ('tenens') In the king's court at Canterbury before [William] of York, William de Insula, Ralph de Norwich and Hugh de Pleyz, itinerant justices, and others on 27 Apr 1236. Margery quitclaimed to the prior for the site of a mill in Stourmouth [Kent]. For this the prior received her into the blessings and prayers of his church.
